(More customer reviews)and won't print on duplicate paper. You can set it to print receipts OR print a sales journal but not both. If you need to record individual sales AND give out customer receipts, then this otherwise nicely streamlined and easy to use cash register is not for you.
The printer doesn't press hard enough for use with duplicate paper rolls and there is no way to program it to print another copy of the receipt. Too bad, this simple feature would make it perfect. It does print a very basic summary report of each department's sales totals with total cash/credit/check sales when prompted. But just the totals.
So head's up if you need a copy receipt or duplicate printing function, this model won't do.

(More customer reviews)This is not worth the money and if I ever have the opportunity to deter someone purchasing this product I certainly will take advantage of that.......It is overpriced does not retain the info and is constantly needing to be reset..........not worth any money let alone what I paid for it......have had checkbook calculators in the past and been very satisfied, now they are very hard to find but this is not worth any money......will be replaced if I can find another.......a truly awful purchase.........very dissatisfied.........would rate -10 if the rating were available.............Truly Sincerely Lucy

(More customer reviews)I bought this calculator for my wife because she is legally blind so she needs something that she can read.
This calculater has huge numerals yet the unit folds in half so that it fits nicely in her purse and is no larger than a makeup compact.
The best thing about this calculator is that it operates at ANY angle of opening. Most folding calculators I have looked at only work when fully opened so they are twice the size when being operated. This one operates at any angle so she can put it in the upper area of the shopping cart with the screen area at a 90-110 degree angle and it works nicely. It has a 12 digit display screen so you can use it for large calculations and has most scientific functions which makes it great for school.
Because it folds in half, there is no danger of damage to the display screen when it is in pocket or purse from keys or change bumping into the screen.
Last, but not least, it has a solar panel to drive it when in the sun. This will extend the life of the battery many times its normal life if you use it a lot outdoors or near a sunny window.
