(More customer reviews)I was looking for a flash for my Nikon D40. Then I saw at AMAZON the "Vivitar 285HV ... for Nikon D40".
... but it was just a general purpose flash, not dedicated in anyway to this camera. The Nikon D40 has 4
contact points for an external flash and the Vivitar285HV has only 1 contact point. The only true fact is
that you can put the flash on the camera, but it is absolutetly not related to the Nikon D40.
