I bought this projector to use in my very cramped classroom with limited space. It is placed on my table which is about one and a half meters from my whiteboard. The image projected on my board is approximately 2 meters wide, which is more than enough for all my students to see. The image is also very bright and I would usually just dim the lights when I am doing presentations but my projections are quite visible with the lights on.
I haven't been able to use the 3d feature but I am sure it works well like everything else on this projector. I have compared this projector to a much more expensive epson projector and I must admit, the viewsonic is a steal of a deal. This viewsonic projector runs a lot cooler than the epson in my opinion as well.
I also used this projector to look at movies at home and my first experience was almost cinema like. I am so pleased with this projector that I have recommended it to many of my colleagues in education. I will be writing regular updates on its durability.
