I live in a valley surrounded by high mountains, and my favorite FM station has a power output of 58,000 watts, and its transmitter is located on a higher mountain about 25 miles from here. Without the antenna, reception is only so-so, with occasional fades in and out, probably due to atmospheric variations. The antenna only reduces the fades, and then only slightly. Well, at six bucks with shipping, it was worth a try.
