(More customer reviews)This item is hard to review. If you are an intrepid traveler, you will find this item to be rather useful. It has 12 languages that can go back and forth. It has useful phrases that are..well...kinda useful. As well, the translator sounds out the words or phrases. So, you shouldn't have any problems going around a new country with this translator (you just might be marked as a tourist, though, and have tons of people trying to sell you things at "discounted" prices). For traveling needs, this translator rates 4 stars.
I had bought this item because I'm studying Korean. For language studies, this translator is a dud. It doesn't even have the word "girlfriend"! So, when I tried to use it in my language studies, I often found that I couldn't find the word. Sometimes there was even duplicates of words. So, where is the 240,000 words promised? I have had electronic dictionaries before - with less words than this one. This one rates well below the ones I had before. So, for language studies, this translator gets 1 star.
