(More customer reviews)Bottomline - Ti-89 is better. It comes better equipped and has way more function, apps, and apps then this one. TI - 83 should be fine for basic level math courses but if you are into controls or taking courses that involve lots of matrices and matrix operation, definitely go for Ti - 89. I bought this a month ago and now I am looking for some deals on Ti-89.
