Just in case a person might want to also order a calculator that goes from flat to chunky in a quick swoop and snap, I demonstrated that it can add 42 and 15 or some such simple function that would not tax one's brain with validation exercises. The more mechanically inclined liked to hold it and see if they could figure out why there is a strange clicking sound when the calculator is rolled and they determined that some vital parts would have to traverse the first joint in order for the LCD display to function. The click is acceptable. The calculator is determined to be "cool", and declaring the manufacturer's name aloud puts a good calculating seal of approval on my new novelty, "Ah, yes, BOEING!". And then, "Where did you get that?"
