(More customer reviews)I have been using HP calculators since about 1974 when I bought the HP-45. I strongly prefer the RPN logic of the HP series. I recently needed to replace a calculator damaged in travel. Having a substitute for an ancient HP-67 programmable calculator was also desireable. So this HP-35s seems very appropriate. It also has the other logic system used my most calculators.
The numerous additional functions, beyond my previous calculators, means that I need to learn new keyboard positions, hence the slightly less than perfect rating. The Quick Start Guide (paper booklet) has 56 pages. For greater detail there is a CD with the much longer User's Guide in PDF format and in many languages. The English version has 382 pages of details.
The display has two lines, an improvement over my past calculators. This lets one see both numbers that may be involved in an operation. It appears that the tremendous increase in power of this calculator may take awhile to appreciate. I am pleased with what I see. The delivery was also much sooner than promised by the vendor.
